Korovin Valentin Ilyitch was born
on April 21, 1947 in Belogorsk, in the Amur Region. In 1965 he graduated from the Art and Graphics Department of the Birobidzhan Teacher's Training College. In 1971 he graduated from the Art and Graphics Faculty of the Khabarovsk Teacher's Training Institute. At present Valentin Ilyitch works as a Headmaster at the Birobidzhan Art School for Children. He has had 6 personal exhibitions in Birobidzhan. He is a constant participant of all "Autumn and Spring" Opening Days and is a laureate of the Birobidzhan Mayer's Prize in Fine Arts. You can see his water-color paintings (his favorite technique) in the collections of the Fine Arts Museum of Birobidzhan and in many private collections in Scotland, Israel, Khabarovsk, Belogorsk and Vladivostok. |
